Nanotoon and the Molecularium Project seek applications for Molecular Simulation Assistants to help make possible the molecular dynamics simulations of complex systems that will be performed during the development and pre-production phases of the Molecularium IMAX movie project. Interested persons should have a familiarity with Fortran and/or C programming and with use of molecular simulations packages (e.g., GROMACS) in simulating the motion of water and other molecular liquids, as well as proteins, DNA, and other complex molecules. An interest in contemporary 3D animation techniques is a plus.
The position will support the Simulation Supervisor, who works with active research teams of engineers and scientists as well as with creative team of artists, animators, and others, to bring a universe to life from within the breadth of an angstrom.
